JustJon Posted May 24, 2005 at 07:55 PM Report Posted May 24, 2005 at 07:55 PM Hi Guys, I'm not sure if this is in the right section but it's sort of art related so: What symbol is used in China to represent a theater on maps and stuff? In the west a symbol of 2 theatrical masks is used, is this the same in China? Or is there another symbol? Quote
shibo77 Posted May 30, 2005 at 02:21 AM Report Posted May 30, 2005 at 02:21 AM I looked over everywhere, and I found a black and white symbol of a Chinese opera (more specifically Beijing Opera because it's on a map of Beijing) mask. It looks like this Zhang fei face on this stamp, without the hat and beard and blush: For a cinema, it shows a black and white symbol of an old 35 mm video camera. -Shìbó Quote
