Andreea Posted March 25, 2015 at 12:06 PM Report Share Posted March 25, 2015 at 12:06 PM For the EU program - Chinese Governmental scholarship, do I have to submit 1 set of documents (original) + its copy for the Eu part and another set of documents(original) + its copy for the Chinese Government = 4 sets of documents or only 1 set in original + its copy as it says on the EU window? Because there is a list on the EU window website, and one list on campus china

shuoshuo Posted March 26, 2015 at 06:53 AM Report Share Posted March 26, 2015 at 06:53 AM It might be a problem so you should complete the csc physical examination form with a stamped photo.
Kat Kat Posted March 26, 2015 at 09:45 AM Report Share Posted March 26, 2015 at 09:45 AM Do I still need to consult the chinese embassy if I already know their agency number before I submit my application? I found the agency number in a commission on higher education memorandum from last year. Should I use the agency number of the embassy or my first choice university? anna03 Posted March 26, 2015 at 10:41 AM Report Share Posted March 26, 2015 at 10:41 AM my documents are almost ready. the only one left is the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. What blood test did you take besides AIDS and syphilis?
Xiaowei M Posted March 26, 2015 at 11:16 AM Report Share Posted March 26, 2015 at 11:16 AM @ Kat Kat If you apply for Bilateral Program, you have to use the agency number of the embassy. It is better to contact the embassy before submitting the documents. maybe there is a kind of a preselection in your country and/or maybe it is necessary to submit additional document for the embassy that includes your contact information. Dont bother too much anout that, as i heard rhey dont look at all this as long as you have signature from your doctor that you are ok. The tests that you dont have you will do it there. For example, last year my friend didnt send at all this document, and she was awarded svholarship... So its okk
Kat Kat Posted March 26, 2015 at 11:34 AM Report Share Posted March 26, 2015 at 11:34 AM @Xiaowei M I've been calling the embassy for weeks, when the operator transfers me to someone they say that it's the wrong number, I was transferred to the wrong person, or hang up the phone. I also went to the embassy, I waited for hours, even though the guard keeps calling the person in charge of scholarships, no one came to see me. So I don't know what to do... Xiaowei M Posted March 26, 2015 at 01:00 PM Report Share Posted March 26, 2015 at 01:00 PM @ Kat Kat I see. In my country the application process is as following: submitting the application documents to the Ministry of Education, forwarding the documents to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by them and finally forwarding the documents to the embassy to be sent to the CSC by the embassy. Applicant should write a letter in our native language informing the Ministry of Education about the application details: field of study, major, duration of studies, instruction language and the contact details and enclose it together with the application documents. The Ministry of Education keeps the letter and forward the application documents to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Gsx1992 Posted March 26, 2015 at 01:27 PM Report Share Posted March 26, 2015 at 01:27 PM My application process has been completely different. The university I applied for contacted my home university offering CSC scholarships. I simply applied on laihua when the agency number they sent and sent all the application documents to that university.
fenlanren Posted March 27, 2015 at 01:52 AM Report Share Posted March 27, 2015 at 01:52 AM I got acceptance letters from Tsinghua, Beijing Normal University and Beijing Jiaotong University, but Tsinghua informed me too late so I already had submitted my documents to local embassy and I didn't write Tsinghua as number 1 choice... Then I called the person who is responsible for CSC that can I still apply scholarship to Tsinghua and they said that sure, send that letter to us and lets see what we can do. So I scanned the letter and sent that to them and now I just have to cross my fingers they grant me the scholarship and scholarship is for Tsinghua.
shuoshuo Posted March 27, 2015 at 03:23 AM Report Share Posted March 27, 2015 at 03:23 AM You will need a blood test for liver function as well. Make sure that your physical examination is complete so you won't have to re-do it, nor get more done. The physical examination is not for the scholarship, it is for the resident permit which you will need for you to be able to stay in China. somethingfunny Posted March 27, 2015 at 09:00 AM Report Share Posted March 27, 2015 at 09:00 AM Do you know how long it should take to arrive? You should contact them to check to see if they've received your application rather than waiting for them to contact you.
Kat Kat Posted March 27, 2015 at 09:14 AM Report Share Posted March 27, 2015 at 09:14 AM I asked the commission on higher education, they said that they didn't know about the scholarship this year and I should contact the chinese embassy. I also contacted the university I want to apply they also told me to apply directly to the chinese embassy. When I went to the chinese embassy, the guard said that there was no one has gone there this year applying for a scholarship, I was the first one but no one would see me nor give me any application details and instruction. This is getting frustrating.
Xiaowei M Posted March 27, 2015 at 09:51 AM Report Share Posted March 27, 2015 at 09:51 AM @ TETTH EMMANUEL Have you checked in the website of the post institution in your country? There must be option status tracing and at least you`ll be able to see when your documents arrive in Beijing.
Xiaowei M Posted March 27, 2015 at 11:29 AM Report Share Posted March 27, 2015 at 11:29 AM My HSKK Intermediate is valid until May 12, 2015. I know it is valid for 2 years. To enclose the certificate with the application documents or not? By the time the uni makes the decision, it will still be valid. But if CSC doesn`t approve the uni decision untill May 9, 2015, will I be rejected because of HSKK validity?
