@tsinghuabound  Wow I have also applied international relations. I got admitted too and I just received a pre-admission notice a few hours later after I replied your first post. It's very good to know somebody who is going to do the same program.  :D

Woohoo, congratulation! The international student office told me it is very hard to receive a full scholarship from Tsinghua, that's so nice. You must have very good result . I didn't receive a scholarship from Tsinghua, so I probably will try to apply through my embassy.

By the way, where are you from? I am from Australia. My name is Jenny.

Kat Kat maybe you should see if the chinese embassy in your country has a web page, because in my country they published the information about the scholarship in their web page and they said the only way to ask about the scholarship was by e mail. Maybe in your country is something similar? :/

Hi everyone, I have a question, and I am desperate.  :(  :(  :wall

Well, I want to apply to the OAS-Chinese Scholarship Government (Organization of American States), so, I must send my documents to Washington DC office.

However, they told me that I must apply directly to the Universities that I targeted, before abril 15th, that is also the deadline for the scholarship application.

So, I don't know what to do, because, applying directly to the universities that I want will be difficult, because there are two options to apply; by a China Scholarship Government, and a Self-sponsored Student. The last one, means that I must send my documents for the mid world, because I live in South America and the envy lasts for many weeks.

They also said me that If I have a pre-admission letter, it will be more possible to award the scholarship, but I REALLY don't know how to get one.

The Universities that I want are: 1. Southwest University, 2. Sun Yat-Sen University, 3. Southeast University

Please, I will glad you reply me,

Thank you.

However she hasnt emailed me to confirm receipt. I guess i have to call them.

u have to go to their website and try to talk to prospective professors who can supervise u. then they can give u pre-admission letter. however, most of these people do not reply to their emails. u can choose to send ur documents to ur school of choice and follow up wid the professor request.

Yes, you have to apply to the school in the regular way. You have to apply to the international students office. You also have to mention that you are applying for the CGS. Some schools will waiver the application fee if it's for the CGS (for many, the pre-admissions notice will also indicate that you are offered placement if your application to the CGS has been accepted).

Hello everyone,

could someone answer me this?

Foreigner Physical Examination Form
Chest X-ray exam (attached chest X-ray report); Laboratory exam (attached test report of AIDS, Syphilis etc). Could you tell me what the attached report means? Does it mean that the doctor has to write everything from the exams to the examination form or that the report has to be sent together with all the other documents?

Thank you

When you get an x-ray done, you will receive the x-ray scan showing your bones and outline of internal organs e.g heart and lungs. You will also receive a report sheet where the doctor writes "normal" or specify any abnormality. This report has a stamp of the clinic or hospital. This is the report you will need to attach with the form. Same with HIV tests, ECG, etc.

@jennyyaaa that's great to hear! I'm from The US. Looking forward to meeting you in the fall. By the way I talked to the international relations department. I was nominated for the CSC scholarship not the tsinghua one. So I'm in the process of sending tsinghua all my materials.

Few last things..

Foreigner Physical Examination Form, do both sides of the form have to be on one peace of paper or two separate pages? or it doesnt matter?

Posted

You don't know how to attach papers together? Surely this is not something only people in China do? Haha...staple the reports or use a paper clip. Or bind them, keep them in a clear file or a brown envelope...there are many ways you can "attach" your reports to the physical examination form. There is no standard way. They don't even need to be physically binded.

I don't know what your national language is. I suppose common international languages would be accepted, such as Spanish, French, English, and if the words look like "negativvdie" and "positivevhs" and can be somewhat understood...you get the idea.

Doesn't matter if you print out the form on separate sheets of paper as long as both sheets include the stamp from the clinic or hospital. Don't forget that the reports need to be stamped too, as well as the the photo you stick on the form.

Thank you shuoshuo.

My national language is lihuanian, it's not exactly one of the common ones :D

Okay... I send an e-mail to the universities that I choose asking how they can give me a pre-admission letter.

So, If I apply directly, I must apply as a self-sponsored student right?

And wait for an admission letter?

@killa14 if you're just now trying to get preadmissionmlettersmfrom universities it will probably be too late to apply once you get them

What does it refer TWO APPLICATION FORMS to in SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS ATTACHED?

Does each set of the application documents include 1 or 2 application forms?

Is it all together 2 or 4 application forms?
