China to the European Union (referred to as the EU office) for CGS opportunity. But i dont know where to look
Xiaowei M Posted February 8, 2015 at 07:57 AM Report Posted February 8, 2015 at 07:57 AM @ Andreea You are welcome. Because my country (I am from Serbia) isn`t member of EU, I don`t know anything about this institution.
Andreea Posted February 8, 2015 at 07:58 AM Report Posted February 8, 2015 at 07:58 AM Thanks > I found something
Andreea Posted February 8, 2015 at 08:43 AM Report Posted February 8, 2015 at 08:43 AM And one more request. If I apply for a Bilateral Program, the Romanian authorities ask me for a program of study to show what I am going to do with the knowledge I have. they say it should be written with somebody from my university, it.s just nobody knows anything about that. So if someone encountered the same problem, can you tell me, how what study program should look like? Does it have a certain pattern, what should i write? I add that I would like to study Chinese Language
英泰inte Posted February 8, 2015 at 10:10 AM Report Posted February 8, 2015 at 10:10 AM @mazi (or everyone), Is submitting scholarship materials right now too early? Nanjing university's online application starts on March, but if we send our materials to the embassy now, we will be too early for getting Nanjing university's acceptance letter. You think March (3月)would be the best time to submit? (note: "Nanjing university" means any university with online applications that start in 3月 or later. metaphor )
Clef Ment Posted February 8, 2015 at 10:14 AM Report Posted February 8, 2015 at 10:14 AM Can a family doctor really take care of the medical form in 20 minutes? In page 2 they are asking for: x-ray, ECG and laboratory exam. The problem is I'm leaving for China in less than 3 weeks (I paid for one semester, then I come back to my country during the summer holidays and then go back to China with a CSC scolarship), so I don't think I have time for these three.
英泰inte Posted February 8, 2015 at 10:54 AM Report Posted February 8, 2015 at 10:54 AM @Clef Ment, could you bring all your materials to China, do your physical there, then send it all back to your embassy? for this semester, you dont need it because it's under 6 months.
Clef Ment Posted February 8, 2015 at 10:59 AM Report Posted February 8, 2015 at 10:59 AM The thing is, I need to send my CSC application before going to China for my first trip. So I need to have my medical form done before I'm leaving. I just hope I don't have to take appointements, or that my family doctor can take care of the whole thing.
英泰inte Posted February 8, 2015 at 11:08 AM Report Posted February 8, 2015 at 11:08 AM sorry about that, I realized that mistake and edited the post.(for anyone who's wondering, my post originally told Clef Ment to get his physical in the summer) Four days ago, my doctor did the blood test with me using the needles, and then sent me to a nearby place for an X-ray. That all took one day, but they told me X-ray and blood results take a week come out. if you go next week, you should still have enough time.
英泰inte Posted February 8, 2015 at 11:22 AM Report Posted February 8, 2015 at 11:22 AM my doctor also said the "ECG" is only if your X-ray shows you have a disease. Try to focus mostly on the blood test and X-ray.
Clef Ment Posted February 8, 2015 at 12:04 PM Report Posted February 8, 2015 at 12:04 PM Thank you, I will see my doctor as soon as possible!
DongLian Posted February 8, 2015 at 01:29 PM Report Posted February 8, 2015 at 01:29 PM I think the whole 20/30 min thing is kinda of crud if you're doing it right. My doctor visit was closer to 1 hour but they did the EKG right then and there. I have to go to hospital for chest xray and that I can get the results to my doctor in 2 days after getting it done and the blood work, 5 days. I think it's possible to do in 3 weeks if your timeframes are similar. I recommend finding out first, where all you need to get these things done and asking them directly how long it will take to get results to your doctor and seeing if everything can be done quickly enough. I was surprised how fast it could be so perhaps you'll be ok, too.And 英泰inte your doctor might be right but we have to do it for the form... the EKG doesn't look for the same things as an x-ray. I wouldn't "focus" or "exclude" on anything and just do all of it and treat each thing as very important. This makes for a more thorough and complete medical form.
shuoshuo Posted February 8, 2015 at 02:07 PM Report Posted February 8, 2015 at 02:07 PM You have to do the EKG or ECG...even if your doctor says it's only done if you have a problem. If the 'graph' attachment is missing from your documents you will be required to do it when you are in China. By the way, the physical examination form doesn't indicate a test for 'liver function' but it is also a requirement so when you get your blood test, also request for the liver function test. @Clef Ment - if you have already done your physicals, bring the original result documents to China. You can process the verification certificate while you are here. The date of the verification certificate will be later than the date on your physicals. That way, you won't have to redo your tests when you apply for the longterm resident permit.
Xiaowei M Posted February 8, 2015 at 07:34 PM Report Posted February 8, 2015 at 07:34 PM @ andreea You need to submit Study Plan in the application process for the scholarship. Mazi posted his own Study Plan in one of the first posts in the forum. It is in English. But I am not clear about the request from the Romanian authorities. Do you need to send Study Plan to the Romanian authorities for a kind of a selection process before applying for the scholarship? If so, you may write it in a similiar form.
英泰inte Posted February 9, 2015 at 05:46 AM Report Posted February 9, 2015 at 05:46 AM @DongLian & shuoshuo, would you be surprised if students got the chinese government scholarship only doing their X-ray and blood test?
Clef Ment Posted February 9, 2015 at 09:41 AM Report Posted February 9, 2015 at 09:41 AM Can you guys login to http://laihua.csc.edu.cn/inscholarship/jsp/student/StudentLogin.jsp It's not working for me right now.
Voyager2014 Posted February 9, 2015 at 11:47 AM Report Posted February 9, 2015 at 11:47 AM @Clef Ment, Try using a different browser. It also happened to me the other day. Opera could not open it but Firefox worked fine.
Voyager2014 Posted February 9, 2015 at 11:55 AM Report Posted February 9, 2015 at 11:55 AM I am a Master Degree applicant. So I know I have to apply directly to the Us, and I have to get pre-admissions letter to be safe so to speak. Here is what makes me confused: in the CSC online application form, you have to fill in with your targeted universities AGENCY NUMBER, and print it and include it with other documents and send them all to the university. but Is it the same thing for your second choice of university? Should you send the second choice the CSC online application form with another universities AGENCY Number on it?
Clef Ment Posted February 9, 2015 at 11:58 AM Report Posted February 9, 2015 at 11:58 AM I tried using different browers, but I have "System error" and "Error 403" when I try to log in.
ZhangKaiRong Posted February 9, 2015 at 11:59 AM Report Posted February 9, 2015 at 11:59 AM @英泰inte Just leave them, and let them do what they think is "complete" and "without problems". You can even get the scholarship without blood tests and X-ray, e.g. most EU Window applicants submit an incomplete FPEF, and no one had problems receiving the scholarship (including me and several classmates).
