Hi!

As has been said in the forums. Speak Up Chinese is still hosting a giveaway for free 1-on-1 Chinese tutoring online + a free evaluation and mini-lesson to determine your lesson plan.

I decided to make a video preview of the evaluation session I had with 苏海峰 (Henry Sun)

There's only a couple of days left before the last batch of winners are selected! You could still win!

Dear All,

Just a quick note to say a BIG thank you to everyone who took part in the giveaway, which closed last week.

Our CEO, Su Haifeng (Henry) has recorded a video message on our blog for everyone by way of thanks.

Note: If you signed-up but were not among the lucky ones to win this time, you can still have a complimentary 50-minute class (see the blog post for details).

We look forward to working with many of you soon! In the meantime, you can follow us on Twitter for our "Word of the Day" and news on future contests: twitter.com/speakupchinese

Hey,

Now that Speak up Chinese has properly launched, I thought it would be a good time to do a review on my blog. Here it is!

To summarize:

  • You get real teaching, not just conversations with native speakers - this is mostly a good thing, although conversation practice might be good sometimes
  • It's really good value (and there's a free trial)
  • This is especially good if you want to improve your pronunciation
