woliveri Posted February 16, 2015 at 04:10 AM Report Posted February 16, 2015 at 04:10 AM My wife will be going to China to visit family and we haven't been back for a while so I know things change. We are looking for the simplist way to use voice/data in Shanghai for a few months. What I came to was to buy a phone here in the US and get it unlocked or have it unlocked in China. Then purchase a monthly or recharge voice/data plan if possible. When I lived in Shanghai before I remember I could just recharge my phone when needed. This was from China Mobile ... Is this type of service still avialable ? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Quote

You can even use Wechat or your phone company's app to top up your phone, saves you the bother of having to go into a shop . Quote
