Hello everyone. I am back again with another question from another 路透 （Reuters) article.

 

This is the entire sentence with the relevant part underlined. Again, I would appreciate tweaks to any part of the passage and not necessarily just the underlined part. No original source being quoted to turn to this time. :-(

 

Once again I really appreciate any help anyone can offer. 

 

他称，中国经济已经进入了发展的新常态，总体向好的基本面没有变，尽管中国碰到的难和险不少，但是时和势对中国来说还是非常有利的。

 

Here is my attempt before using a translator:

 

He says China's economic development has already reached a new normal. The overall (good?) fundamentals haven't changed, even though China has run into a lot of difficulties and dangers, time and potential are still very favourable in its view.  

 

 

Here is what a Google translation renders:

 

He said that China's economy has entered a new normal development, the overall fundamentals have not changed for the better, even though China encountered many difficulties and risks, but when and potential for China is still very favorable. 

 

And Baidu翻译：

I give my translation of two clauses:

 

总体向好的基本面没有变，

The fundamentals, whose overall situation is good, remain intact.

 

但是时和势对中国来说还是非常有利的。

but the trend of the times is still very favorable for China. 

 

Here, 势 refers to 趋势、形势

In english article Reuters is using 'new normal' as a special term, I sippose its the translation of 新常态:
