Varjolo Posted March 14, 2015 at 06:09 PM Report Share Posted March 14, 2015 at 06:09 PM Hi, It's a part of a story, I need help with two excerpts. The translation of these two I already have. In the country governed by the "demon", the people stood against the wastes, the oppression and the selfishness that dwelled in the royal palace. General Legion lead the people to the palace and gained control of it. All the members of the royal family and their servants were captured without exception. And I need help with these two: Thanks! michaelS Posted March 19, 2015 at 04:57 AM Report Share Posted March 19, 2015 at 04:57 AM Something along these lines: 之后国民设立了独立议会。Afterwards the citizens established an independent parliament.王政权宜告结束The king's regime was over这个国家在革命制裁中迎来了末日The country's days of revolution and suffering were coming to an end腐败国家的恶魔The corrupt country's devil [seems not to make sense standing alone?]正义最终打败了邪恶Justice had triumphed over wickedness将自由握进手中and freedom was reclaimed ... (others I'm sure can do a more accurate job, but you get the gist)

dwq Posted March 23, 2015 at 08:42 AM Report Share Posted March 23, 2015 at 08:42 AM 腐败国家的恶魔 The corrupt country's devil [seems not to make sense standing alone?] Actually it says 腐蝕, but the meaning is similar. Since 腐蝕 is more often used as a verb, this should translate as "The devil that corrupts the country". As you suspected it is not a complete sentence and more text should follow to complete it.
