First giving honor to those who have offered help to me on other threads I have posted. And thank you to the moderators who make it possible for me to post. I am sorry to bother you all. I need your expert knowledge to help me once again. I am looking at buying a set of porcelain figures and need to translate the base of the figures. Any help would be appreciated and welcomed. Thank you all for your kindness and help always. I have learned so much just in the short while I have been on this family forum. Thanks again.

When asking for artwork/ceramic translations, please show the whole object! It can often turn into a guessing game otherwise. It's easier to read an inscription and identify the artist, for example, if you can see the painting and the subject matter.

That said, this reads 萬同順造 "Made by Wan Tong'shun." (I've separated the given name against convention so you can read it more easily.)

He was a Republic Era potter, but modern copies of Republic Era works now abound. Caveat Emptor!

Thank you very much. The reason I did not put the whole image up was to protect the auctioneer. If I were to add images of the whole figure it would have to be in my possession. I would have to already own it. I try to respect people as best as I can. I did not see a point in using the whole image because there are no additional marks on the figure but the marks at the base. I just needed to get a translation of the characters as you have translated fine without the whole picture. Thank you so much for your kindness.
