Tsunku Posted December 11, 2003 at 06:37 AM Report Posted December 11, 2003 at 06:37 AM I'll admit complete ignorance here. Back in April, before I left China, I had an ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages) oral interview and tested at intermediate-high. I just found this out earlier in the week since I hadn't bothered to look at my transript from China yet. So I'm wondering, is this ACTFL score worth anything outside of America? Is it even worth anything in America? When I took it I wasn't even aware I was getting a score like that, I just thought the interview was to be part of our grades for the class. I looked at their website but it didn't say anything really about why having a ACTFL score was useful for anything other than an ego-stroke. Quote
