aprose1977 Posted April 29, 2015 at 11:45 AM Report Posted April 29, 2015 at 11:45 AM Hello I need to put some course documents - fairly small word files, pdfs and ppts. online for a class that I'm running. I'm looking for a site that restricts access to people with a password and which is accessible in China without a VPN. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you. Quote
eshton Posted April 29, 2015 at 01:41 PM Report Posted April 29, 2015 at 01:41 PM Baidu and Tencent both have a sort online storage, not sure about password protection but usually any files have to be shared explicity for others to access them. 1 Quote
Tianjin42 Posted April 29, 2015 at 04:00 PM Report Posted April 29, 2015 at 04:00 PM You might have something that does that with 金山快盘? Not 100% but worth checking. Quote
ChTTay Posted April 30, 2015 at 07:36 AM Report Posted April 30, 2015 at 07:36 AM WEIYUN is Tencents service. Sign in with a QQ number. Works across all platforms. As with most cloud services, your files are not just out there for all to see. You need to send a download link for people to use or perhaps share a whole folder (like in Dropbox). Otherwise, people can't access your stuff. I believe Weiyun might require anyone downloading from you to also sign into Weiyun / register with them. If it's going to be Chinese purple, they all have QQ numbers anyway... Quote
