arreke Posted May 7, 2015 at 05:55 AM Report Posted May 7, 2015 at 05:55 AM Does anybody know any Chinese analog of this kind of forum? I personally like this forum, most of the topics and discussions are quite interesting, and the forum itself is full of useful information. I wonder if something similar is available in Chinese, I've never seen any Chinese forums similar to this one, where we can read interesting topics and hot discussions, and even participate in discussions, improving both our reading and writing skills. AdamD Posted May 7, 2015 at 07:06 AM Report Posted May 7, 2015 at 07:06 AM There are some groups on 豆瓣小组 ( http://www.douban.com/group/ ) which might fit the bill, but they're not half as organised or searchable as this site.
rezaf Posted May 7, 2015 at 07:56 AM Report Posted May 7, 2015 at 07:56 AM The problem is that most Chinese learners who have interesting ideas are not fluent enough to express their ideas in Chinese and even if they try there will be lots of mistakes so I wouldn't think of that kind of forum as a good tool for improving Chinese. The Chinese who can write properly on the other hand don't need to learn Chinese so again it wouldn't work. That leaves us with subjects that interest you on the forums for Chinese people. For example I could easily find forums about Chinese martial arts where people often had heated discussions about whose style or whose master was the "REAL DEAL" or forums about Medicine and health related subjects, TCM, Qigong, ... Really there is a lot so it just depends on what you are looking for. 1 Quote
歐博思 Posted May 7, 2015 at 08:04 AM Report Posted May 7, 2015 at 08:04 AM Chinese already know Chinese, so it wouldn't make sense to have a Chinese website with the same Chinese learning material as is posted here. But for subject-content related material, try "[what you want to search here]論壇" on Baidu or Google. Quote
roddy Posted May 7, 2015 at 08:22 AM Report Posted May 7, 2015 at 08:22 AM I usually point people towards Douban, as AdamD has done - there are tons of groups on there, you just need to find one that interests you. Quote
pross Posted May 7, 2015 at 08:58 AM Report Posted May 7, 2015 at 08:58 AM Look for an expat *BBS* in your home country. Australia, for example, has several: oursteps, yeeyi, freeoz. 1 Quote
Shelley Posted May 7, 2015 at 10:54 AM Report Posted May 7, 2015 at 10:54 AM Have you had a look at the Chinese Corner thread here on these forums? I understand it supposed to be Chinese only, which may fill your requirements. Here - http://www.chinese-forums.com/index.php?/forum/34-chinese-corner/ Quote
li3wei1 Posted May 7, 2015 at 12:50 PM Report Posted May 7, 2015 at 12:50 PM You could try this: Chinese people discussing Chinese linguistics, in Chinese, as far as I can tell. http://www.pkucn.com/forum-6-1.html Quote
