Vase Translation Please

I'm not a hundred percent positive (on the contrary I'm actually very unsure) but the first vertical character looks like 捧, which is a very common character in religious Japanese, with the meaning of offering something. Now the character under it is 部 for sure.

Then on top, from right to left, I read 京都, which means Kyoto (that would confirm this vase is Japanese). What's puzzling me is that the 阝is written in very different ways in both 都 and 部. Again it's certainly 京, but these two different writings for 阝make me doubt that the other character is actually 都.

These are just my two cents. There might very well be one or two mistakes in my reading. I'm not as good as I wish I'd be at reading cursive script.

Help anyone? Scott? :D
