New Members HDH Posted May 24, 2015 at 06:38 PM New Members Report Share Posted May 24, 2015 at 06:38 PM *Warning this post references abuse don't read if you are sensitive to this topic" I initially was going to use the word 幸存者 (Xìng cún zhě) which is literally the translation of someone who survived and/or a lucky person but I don't feel that this word fits correctly with the situation in mind because from what I have read this word is more literal as in someone who survived something like a car accident ( a disaster). Just a brief explanation so you all understand I have been through a lot of traumatic situations sexually and emotionally and have attempted suicide, so I am looking for a word or saying that would express I am strong, lucky, courageous, etc or I have survived, or I am a survivor, but not completely literal. My apologies if this is in the wrong forum.

max_power Posted May 28, 2015 at 09:37 AM Report Share Posted May 28, 2015 at 09:37 AM 独狼 means lonely wolf literally, But in chinese, it sometime means you are strong and brave, and have survived from something. But it has negative meaning that you can't work with others.
