Question re ordering from Amazon.com into China

I am wanting to order some books and some DVDs from Amazon.com into Beijing. Has anyone got any experience in this? I will be ordering some Christian books (in English obviously, but no copies, so only for personal use) and some dance (instruction) DVDs. I am worried it may not arrived, especially the Christian books. I am not ordering ONLY Christian books though.

I've never had problems with Amazon, but my orders were mostly math texts. I don't think they were even opened at customs (compare that to a US-purchased Andy Lau CD that got confiscated when it was sent to me).

I know of an Amazon order of two cases of English Bibles, and they made it through without a hitch.

Why did your CD get confiscated? What happens then since you've paid for it?
