What do the following characters mean:

it looks a little like a stylized 硕 / 碩

now perhaps someone else has a better idea ...

looks engraved - does it belong to someone who has a Master (硕士)?

like some kind of graduation ring or something.

Thanks for the replies. It is located on the bottom of a shoe. It has a Registered symbol (®) above it in the right top corner. Perhaps this helps.

In 广州清远市 there's a 广硕鞋业.
