CWBwick Posted June 23, 2015 at 04:56 PM Report Share Posted June 23, 2015 at 04:56 PM Hello, I have a large book of Chinese art prints that I believe was published in Japan (which seems strange, but the more I learn about it, this was not uncommon) circa 1910-1928. The attached photo represents the colophon, or last page, which I hope contains some form of author or editor identifier, publisher, printer, date and place. I have tried for some time to use the google image recognition translator, but I'm constantly getting either mixed or incomprehensible results. I have no interest in obtaining a value, just when, where and by whom. The title of the book (after much deliberation) is simply: 鹼人繪 盡 Thanks for your consideration and any help that may be provided.

889 Posted June 24, 2015 at 12:36 AM Report Share Posted June 24, 2015 at 12:36 AM But note you've got one of the characters off in your listing of the title line. It's 職人繪盡奧付, with that first character 職 not 鹼.
dwq Posted June 24, 2015 at 09:31 AM Report Share Posted June 24, 2015 at 09:31 AM And 奧付 means colophon so it is not part of the title.
