LingWen - An RPG to Learn Chinese :)

Hello everyone

 

 

LingWen is an RPG that is designed to teach people a foreign language but also be fun to play Currently the game only teaches Chinese, but, God willing, we'd like to perhaps teach other languages at some point.

 

The game is in early alpha and currently only teaches the basics of Chinese, including pronunciation and characters, so it's most suitable for people who are beginners in Chinese.

The current release is free  Sadly, we only have a release for Windows at this time, but if people are interested in seeing the game on other platforms, please post and let us know

My computer won't let me install it, says it has malware and/or something else harmful.

Ah, yes, the game is a role playing game, as Final Fantasy or perhaps even Pokemon could be considered to be

 

Shelly, that's strange; thank you for letting me know. Are you using any anti-virus software? If so, which one?

Yes of course I am, I use Malwaebytes Anti-Malware and Avast Anti virus.

Mine says it wasn't installed many times and it could be an virus

I'm using Avast

I've contacted Avast and they said that Avast should no longer recognize the game as a virus

 

Please let me know if you're able to install the game now without any warnings from Avast  If not, you may need to update your virus definitions or wait awhile until they're automatically updated.
