Need help translating a name

There is a Daphne in English but no Dephne, did you spell it correctly?

 

It not really a Chinese name that I have ever heard.

 

If you type Daphne into a search engine you get lots of results, Dephne just gets the response of "did you mean Daphne?"

It is not necessarily meant to be an English name.
Chinese people can choose "Western" first names in whatever culture they have an interest in.
Dephne could be a variant of Daphne in any kind of language, and/or the name of a celebrity, and/or a misspelling.

Google actually gives lots of results for Dephne.
Especially Dephne Madyara, and Turkish restaurants, and people with a Chinese last name.

Actually the Turkish first name Defne is supposed to come from Daphne (different spelling though).
