Hi,

 

First of all, sorry if this is in the wrong section! Secondly, let me introduce myself, I am a student from The Netherlands. Currently I am researching the Chinese potato market for my end paper. I am looking for a local student to help me with some things.

 

In august i will be in Harbin for a few days, to do some practical research( do some interviews/surveys). I want to speak to some potato farmers. I speak a little Chinese, but not enough to do it on my own. Do you guys know any local students who might want to help me with translation and getting in touch with farmers? Or where I have to look to find someone?

august is summer holiday

some students have left now

maybe harder to find students 

 

I may still stay in Harbin then

but i m not local

and have no idea how to contact potato farmers

i d like to help you with translation before i leave from harbin

You're not only asking to find a personal translator/interpreter for you but also a fixer. I can put you in contact with someone but he will charge money as translating and being a fixer is pretty much his profession.
