I need help deciphering the artist's name on a painting.

Hello,

 

My dad is trying to find out information about a painting he received from his dad (my grandpa).  My grandpa has passed so we don't know any information about it and would love to know the artist's name, seal and in general, anything about it.  We aren't even sure if it is Chinese!  We do know however that it is absolutely beautiful! 

 

We have no idea where he had gotten it.  We are from Chicago and my grandpa was a collector so we are uncertain if it was something he aquired in his search for collections or just something he thought was beautiful.

 

Anyway, any help would be so greatly appreciated!  I attempted to look online at the letters and I really was unsuccessful.

Search Chinese Peasant Paintings on Google Images and you'll find a truckload of these.

They were quite popular and original in the 1980s, but then mass-production started and they began to become more souvenir than art. Early ones still hold some interest.

I see “欢度春节”,  i believe it is just a painting used on the Chinese Lunar New Year Festival.
