Ichini Posted July 30, 2015 at 12:10 AM Report Posted July 30, 2015 at 12:10 AM Hello everyone! As the title says, I'm looking for books (but also chapters from other books, encyclopedias etc) about the chinese lion dance. I've already looked in my university's library but was only able to find Wang Kefen's "The History of Chinese Dance". My ideal book would be "Chinese Lion Dance Explained" by William C. Hu but it's nearly impossible to find and the few copies I've come across cost a fortune! If you have any suggestions I'd be eternally grateful! Quote
889 Posted July 30, 2015 at 01:45 PM Report Posted July 30, 2015 at 01:45 PM Yes, US$600 to US$2500 for the Hu book on Abebooks is indeed a fortune, and suggests you are very unlikely to find a bargain copy, especially against professionals who are always out there trolling for expensive books mispriced cheap.
