Bronze censer with archaic seal

正德年製 — Two possibilities:

Made during the Zhengde (正德) reign (1491-1521). Zhengde was the reign name of a Ming emperor (明武宗 Wuzong/朱厚照 Zhu Houzhao).

Or, if it's Japanese, then it's Made during the Shōtoku era (1711-16).

I don't know anything about Japanese seals, so I don't know if they're worded the same way as Chinese seals. I also don't know enough about bronzes to be able to tell you if it's Chinese or Japanese (or possibly a fake, who knows?). You'll need to have it looked at by an expert to find out.
