I need help to translate this poem

今生今世

我最忘情的哭声有两次

一次，在我生命的开始

一次，在你生命的告终

第一次，我不会记得，是听你说的

第二次，你不会晓得，我说也没用

但两次哭声的中间啊

有无穷无尽的笑声

一遍一遍又一遍

回荡了整整三十年

你都晓得，我都记得

One's 母難日 is one's birthday.

I am no translator but this is my attempt (out of boredom at work, as usual) ->

Throughout my life

Twice I cried most uncontrollably/helplessly

Once was at the beginning of my life

Once was at the end of yours

The first time, I wouldn't remember it, I heard it from you

The second time, you wouldn't know about it, no matter what I say

Oh but in between the crying

There was endless laughter

Time and time again

Echoing through the whole of thirty years

You know it all, I remember it all

That is a good poem. Here's my version:

In this life of mine

There were two times when I wept out loud without restraint:

One time was as my life began;

One time was as your life ended.

The first time I can't remember: you told me about it;

The second time you couldn't know, and me telling would be no use.

But the time between those two weepings

Had laughter in fullest measure

Time and again and then again,

Ringing out down thirty years.
