eriick Posted August 18, 2015 at 08:53 AM Report Share Posted August 18, 2015 at 08:53 AM Hey. My friend got a Chinese tattoo while partying in Greece. Needless to say he regrets it. Does anyone know what it means? Thanks!

Shelley Posted August 18, 2015 at 11:22 AM Report Share Posted August 18, 2015 at 11:22 AM There should be some rules, regulations, laws or something to stop you being able to have a tattoo unless you pass a breathalyser. How many life long mistakes could have been avoided ?

Shelley Posted August 19, 2015 at 12:03 PM Report Share Posted August 19, 2015 at 12:03 PM And the world would have less tattoos and would that be missed? Maybe the tattoo artist would put their skills to other forms of art and beatifying the world.
lingo-ling Posted August 19, 2015 at 07:37 PM Report Share Posted August 19, 2015 at 07:37 PM In Bangkok they don't tattoo you if you're drunk. They allow it in Greece?
langxia Posted August 19, 2015 at 08:17 PM Report Share Posted August 19, 2015 at 08:17 PM There should be some rules, regulations, laws or something to stop you being able to have a tattoo unless you pass a breathalyser. How many life long mistakes could have been avoided ? A serious tattoo artist would never tattoo you when you are drunk... Starts with safety issues as alcohol thins your blood and you bleed more while getting the tattoo.
Shelley Posted August 19, 2015 at 08:26 PM Report Share Posted August 19, 2015 at 08:26 PM Oh didn't think of that, another sensible reason not to ink when you can't think
Silent Posted August 20, 2015 at 08:45 PM Report Share Posted August 20, 2015 at 08:45 PM And the world would have less tattoos and would that be missed? Maybe the tattoo artist would put their skills to other forms of art and beatifying the world. That's a very subjective.... I would never take a tattoo (although I never should say never) I can certainly enjoy a beautiful tattoo. Sure, a lot of tattoo's are crap, but then this is true for many art forms. There is some very good artwork, but there's plenty of mediocre and crap artwork too.
edelweis Posted August 21, 2015 at 12:56 PM Report Share Posted August 21, 2015 at 12:56 PM 瘨 diān 'crazy, mad, ill'. Either the tattoo is mirrored or the photo is. I hope it's the photo.I hope it's not the photo. Tattooing 'crazy, mad, ill' on oneself sounds silly, but if it's reversed you could say it's on purpose ;)What's the reverse / opposite of crazy? Or is it that the bearer is not crazy, but the onlooker is? Maybe the OP's "friend" was actually making a statement...
Lu Posted August 21, 2015 at 02:59 PM Report Share Posted August 21, 2015 at 02:59 PM Maybe the OP's "friend" was actually making a statement...I suspect the statement was something like 'Look dude, haha, I totally got a tattoo! It's like, Japaneeeese... or something...' [pukes in corner]
