Is this Chinese hanzi?

I could not recognize these characters, nor could my Chinese friend (who only knows simplified), so I was wondering if these are Chinese characters or not? I thought the artwork indicated Chinese, but I'm not sure. Perhaps is it Japanese?

This isn't Chinese, Japanese or Korean, nor any other script I know. It's possible that it's one of the Chinese minority scripts, but it's also quite likely that it's just fake Chinese. Is this on an object you bought in China, or something from a store back home? In the latter case, perhaps the maker wanted to add some Chinesey characters without actually knowing Chinese.

Given the drawings on the right I'd say it underwent a 90° rotation to the left, Shelley.

That said I'm like Lu and the others: pretty sure it doesn't look like anything that I know. Which means it's not Chinese, simplified or traditional and not Japanese nor Korean either.
