fovisser Posted September 6, 2015 at 08:32 PM Report Share Posted September 6, 2015 at 08:32 PM Hello, I want to send a package to a friend in China. I have his hand-written address, but cannot write or type it. Can someone help me transcribe this into computerized Chinese characters, so I can print it and paste it on the package? Thanks! Frank The Netherlands.
Demonic_Duck Posted September 7, 2015 at 06:48 AM Report Share Posted September 7, 2015 at 06:48 AM Address appears to be 中国广东省普宁市南径镇青洋山牛头门口60号 (No. 60, Niutou Gate, Qingyangshan, Nanjing Town, Puning, Guangdong, PRC). Name looks like 苏喜强 (Su Xiqiang). I'm about 95% sure on the address and 90% sure on the name. The reason I'm only 90% sure on the name is because it seems he's used the traditional form for 强(強), yet 苏 is a simplified-only character. Maybe that's just the stylised way he writes his own name. Lu Posted September 7, 2015 at 08:41 AM Report Share Posted September 7, 2015 at 08:41 AM I agree with the Duck about the address. I also agree that the name might be slightly different, but I assume the OP knows his friend's name so that shouldn't be a problem. If you have your friend's phone number, it's good to write that on the package as well, in case the mailman has trouble finding the address.
