889 Posted September 12, 2015 at 05:33 AM Report Share Posted September 12, 2015 at 05:33 AM Japanese. Probably Daiki Kyoko or perhaps Daiki Seiko, among other possible readings.
Kamille Posted September 12, 2015 at 05:37 AM Report Share Posted September 12, 2015 at 05:37 AM 清子,大崎清子. The name is Bond, James Bond As 889 already said it's Japanese. 大崎 should be read Osaki though, not Daiki, as far as I know, because it looks like a name. Probably Osaki Kyoko.
889 Posted September 12, 2015 at 06:54 AM Report Share Posted September 12, 2015 at 06:54 AM It can be read Daiki, but I agree Ōsaki is far more likely as a family name.
New Members ~Eirene~ Posted September 12, 2015 at 07:24 AM Author New Members Report Share Posted September 12, 2015 at 07:24 AM Thank you very much. So Kyoko would be a given name not a surname? The seal is from a painting I am trying to identify for someone. I can only locate an anime character named Kyoko Ozaki. Hmmm...I wonder if this anime character paints in their spare time? Kamille Posted September 14, 2015 at 04:05 AM Report Share Posted September 14, 2015 at 04:05 AM This painter doesn't seem too famous. I tried typing their Japanese name in kanjis in google, and even when coupled with kanjis meaning painting, just absolutely no information popped up. Kyoko would be the given name, yes, but I'm not sure it has to be pronounced that way. Kanjis usually can have many pronunciations. However I'm much more positive about the family name 大崎 being read Osaki, as it's a family name (actually Ōsaki or Ousaki in romaji, as 889 pointed out, since it's a long "o" sound, but in English people usually just simplify it into Osaki).
