Friday Posted September 15, 2015 at 02:17 AM Report Share Posted September 15, 2015 at 02:17 AM I find that studying words in the context of sentences is much better than studying them outside of sentences. Two decks in Anki are particularly useful, because they emphasize sentences and include natural audio reading the whole sentence, with hanzi and pinyin: "Chinese Sentences and audio, spoon fed" "Medical Mandarin Chinese" I find that most of the sentences are a bit easy, so I need more complex sentences. I found other sentence decks in Anki's shared decks collection, but these seem to use TTS for audio. Are there any other decks available with sentences and audio? Are there any commercial Web sites that sell Chinese sentence decks for Anki or that could be readily converted to Anki after purchase? Well, I've made my own decks from cartoons, do you want to give it a try?
HerrPetersen Posted September 15, 2015 at 05:56 PM Report Share Posted September 15, 2015 at 05:56 PM There was a pretty decent deck called "HSK 2012". It was deleted due to anki's copyright tear down. This deck seems to include it though: https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/235147699 It used a lot of iknow-sentences which I think the "spoon fed" one does too? I do not know about paid anki-decks.
