MockCharge Posted September 16, 2015 at 05:29 PM Report Posted September 16, 2015 at 05:29 PM Hi maybe someone can help me. Either on purpose or by accident, the embassy in South Africa took my original 'Invitation Letter of Duly Authorised Unit' leaving me with the copy. Is it possible to apply for the temporary residence permit (in China) without this? I have a work permit/foreign experts certificate and a contract with the company I'll be working for,but does anyone know if not having that original invitation letter could be a problem? Also do Chinese embassies keep original docs or was this a mistake? Quote
ChTTay Posted September 17, 2015 at 04:44 AM Report Posted September 17, 2015 at 04:44 AM I don't believe you need this document for the temporary residence permit. From when I've applied in Hong Kong before, I seem to remember they took the originals of some and not of others. Quote
