New Members duncanw Posted September 21, 2015 at 06:40 AM New Members Report Share Posted September 21, 2015 at 06:40 AM I am hoping that someone may be able to help translate this mark for me. I believe it is in some form of seal script. I recognise the character for the number 2, but not sure about the other character. Many thanks
scottt Posted September 30, 2015 at 10:22 AM Report Share Posted September 30, 2015 at 10:22 AM 老二
Kamille Posted September 30, 2015 at 11:28 AM Report Share Posted September 30, 2015 at 11:28 AM Bwahahaha. Drawing a penis with seal script in it. Genius xD Though my reading would be 杳二, not 老二. Not that it would make any sense, whereas 老二 does make sense. But still, I see 杳二. Or 二杳, actually,as I'm not sure which is the correct reading direction. What happened there? New Members duncanw Posted October 1, 2015 at 09:40 AM Author New Members Report Share Posted October 1, 2015 at 09:40 AM Thank you, both for your replies. Do you have the English translation of these characters? I was wondering whether it could be a name? Would this make sense? I think the shape is a gourd. Thanks

Kamille Posted October 4, 2015 at 03:41 AM Report Share Posted October 4, 2015 at 03:41 AM I don't know what the form is. I said a penis because of scottt's deciphering of the characters. Now I don't agree with his reading. So the form could be anything as far as I'm concerned. duncanw you can find a translation here: http://www.mdbg.net/chindict/chindict.php?page=worddict&wdrst=1&wdqb=%E4%BA%8C%E6%9D%B3 But as you can see it makes no sense.
