I've noticed both 缄 and 寄 are used to mark the sender.

For example:

(address part)

..

(Recipient) 王小明 收

(sender) 我的名字 缄

or an alternative to the last line:

我的名字 寄

Is there any difference between them in usage?

I think there is no big difference for letters with envelopes, but if you send a poscard, you can use only 寄, because 缄 means to seal envelope, so it would look weird on a poscard.
