Help with a Chinese name

Hello all,

I was wondering if you could help me with a Chinese name for a character (fictional).

So far my character would be half Asian half European & growing up in Europe.

Her name is Georgia(first) Rose(middle) Lee(surname)

I was thinking that her actual surname would be Li but because of discrimination they have chosen to write Lee instead as this could also be a British surname.

I've been googling a lot and Li seems to be also a pretty common Chinese surname, so I THINK this should be okay?

Anyway, as for her Chinese name I had the following in mind (but I'm obviously willing to change it if its completely gibberish haha)

Li Jia Mei

Could this be a name or does it sound strange?

As for the characters I've so far stumbled upon:

李            佳

Li(Plum)   Jia(Beautiful)   Mei(Rose???)

I've also found 家 for Jia (family/home?) 嘉 (Fine?)

So I was wondering, can these characters be a Chinese name or does it look weird/strange/gibberish.

Are the meanings accurate?

I'm quite confused about because I also often see 玫瑰 meigui, can it be just the mei without the gui & still mean rose?

I came to this name because I really like the sound of Jia & I was looking for a translation of rose.

Uh oh. Whilst writing this I found way over 30 different characters for 'Jia' and now I'm starting to have even more questions woops.

Thank you so much in advance :)

Yep, very okay. Also, the surname 李 (Li) is usually spelled Lee in Hong Kong, so overseas Chinese from a Hong Kong background usually spell it Lee, even without considering possible discrimination.

李佳玫 Li Jiamei sounds good to me, and if native speaker Skylee says it's good, then it's definitely good.

Sorry for my late response I was actually in HK for a couple of days!

My father wrote her name for me & I'm really happy with the result :)

Though he thinks the Cantonese name is better & doesn't like Mandarin XD

Your father has a good hand. I've never seen 佳 written like that though, if it hadn't clearly been written by someone who knows his stuff I'd have thought it was a miswriting.
