Hello, everyone.

What is the Chinese word or phrase for a "full moon?" Are there different writings and/or pronunciations for "full moon" between the various Chinese dialects?

Thanks for your help.

滿月

hanyu pinyin - man3 yue4

cantonese ~ mun5 yuet9

well, i have to say sometimes the word 滿月may lead misunderstanding....

since it also means a baby who is one-month old, hhehh

like,

"多大了?“

“昨天剛滿月。”

so besides 滿月,u can also say 圓月 or 月圓, it could even be 十五 as the chinese lunar calender, for example, “今天十五了吧,月亮這麽圓。”
