Guest realmayo Posted October 22, 2015 at 12:57 PM Report Share Posted October 22, 2015 at 12:57 PM Sorry but I recognised rtf's photo as someone on youtube a couple of years ago who was good at languages and thought it might be that person, didn't see the harm in asking. Vildhjerp Posted October 22, 2015 at 05:18 PM Report Share Posted October 22, 2015 at 05:18 PM Hehe, I love reading through Chinese-forums' surprise cognitive interventions. It's been so long since Pedroski has posted. And because of that, this sudden influx of questions from somebody is quite refreshing. rtf, don't stop posting exactly how you're posting. I've learnt so much from all your questions so far, and I'm sure many other people have as well.
davoosh Posted October 22, 2015 at 09:00 PM Report Share Posted October 22, 2015 at 09:00 PM Karapetyanz doesn't appear in any searches as a sinologist, maybe not the best source to use for Mandarin grammatical theories? - I checked several major universities' library catalogues and google searches only point to this topic.. (The fact that he might not write in English is not relevant - SOAS, Oxford, Cambridge and most major Universities have extensive libraries of material in several languages.) From what I've seen, 一樣 is most commonly only followed by 地 when it's part of a longer phrase, Google gives such examples: 死一樣地 象骑士一样地 讨厌像爸爸一样地生活
