Year of the Dog painting

I have this painting with The Year of the Dog symbol which i got when i was born, but there are several symbols in it which i don't understand. Of course i'm not sure if its even mandarin at all, since i don't know any languages from Asia but I've tried to compare it to the common year of the dog symbols which i could come across without any success partly because the text seems to be in this handwritten style.

Any help would be much appreciated :)

Ok, then I may have got it wrong, but

The first line is 友爱 but for me to match the picture it seems like it should be 爱友 .

The same for the second line.

And the artist's name seems one way as characters and another way in the stamps.

I think calligraphy is written top to bottom and right to left. Same for the seal.

So the characters  in the picture are in this order:

忠友
诚爱

虫阿

But in modern order (i.e. to search in online dictionaries etc) it reads:

友爱 忠诚

阿虫

阿虫

Ah ok that makes sense. I am glad I asked though, because it means I was able to recognise the characters in the painting with the ones in the translation and could see the difference, if you get what I mean.

Thank you.
