rms Posted October 26, 2015 at 12:29 AM Report Posted October 26, 2015 at 12:29 AM I am moving and was thinking to send my cool e-scooter. It is too far to drive. What would it cost me and how to do it? thanks Quote
abcdefg Posted October 27, 2015 at 01:28 AM Report Posted October 27, 2015 at 01:28 AM Sure, no problem. It will cost 143 Yuan and take 7.5 hours. Call Mr. Zhang to arrange it. Phone number 12345678. 1 Quote
imron Posted October 27, 2015 at 03:23 AM Report Posted October 27, 2015 at 03:23 AM @rms, if you want a useful answer the very least you could do, is say which city you are in and which city are you moving to. I imagine for example that shipping/courier from Beijing to Tianjin will have a very different cost than shipping from Beijing to Chongqing. If you can't provide enough basic information for people to be able to help you, don't expect to get many serious replies. In the meantime, check out courier companies and/or removal companies in the city where you live. Quote

imron Posted October 27, 2015 at 03:52 AM Report Posted October 27, 2015 at 03:52 AM Sure, no problem. Call Mr. Li to arrange it. Phone number: 021-33725785 Not a joke. Rather from the first result from a google search for 托运电动车 上海 珠海. Note: I don't vouch for the company, or that the phone number even still works. The above should be enough to get you started though, however if you can't read Chinese you'll need the help of a native speaker. 1 Quote
roddy Posted October 27, 2015 at 07:25 AM Report Posted October 27, 2015 at 07:25 AM The railways also have a freight service - I wouldn't be surprised if you can ride it to the station, get it packaged and put on a train, then pick it up in Zhuhai. Quote
rms Posted October 27, 2015 at 07:39 AM Author Report Posted October 27, 2015 at 07:39 AM "picking up" is very good option, I will check it out, thanks Quote
roddy Posted October 27, 2015 at 07:48 AM Report Posted October 27, 2015 at 07:48 AM There's even an incomprehensible pricing list here http://www.huoche.net/show_254855/ There'll be a 托运办理处 (or something like that) near the station, should be easy to find. I'd look into it a bit though - you might not be able to send the battery, and if you're flying down yourself you might not be able to take it with you. If that's the case, the cost of a new battery+shipping might be more than what you'd spend on selling and rebuying in Zhuhai. Let us know how you get on. Quote
edelweis Posted October 27, 2015 at 10:01 AM Report Posted October 27, 2015 at 10:01 AM how are you moving the rest of your stuff? Quote
rms Posted October 27, 2015 at 02:14 PM Author Report Posted October 27, 2015 at 02:14 PM I don't have much stuff, mostly will bring with me, the rest may be will send somehow Quote
rms Posted December 3, 2015 at 03:39 AM Author Report Posted December 3, 2015 at 03:39 AM Hello, so the sending was successful with these guys 021-33725785 Not so pleasant, he first said ¥800, then wanted 1100 after already put in his van for picking it up at Jingan, then I managed to lower to 800 again to send without a wooden box. Then they called me and told me I must go 60 km to pick it up which technically is Zhuhai or they will send it to Guangzhou and I will have to pay more. Finally they sent me home for another ¥200. So all in all I would give them a 3 stars from 5 1 Quote
