michaelS Posted November 7, 2015 at 10:58 AM Report Share Posted November 7, 2015 at 10:58 AM Sure, I'll have a crack. I deal with classroom consoles like this every day. Left-hand side, starting from top 影碟机 - DVD player录像机 - VCR展台 - Booth/ Stand/ Stage? *卡座 - Cassette/ Tape deck Right-hand side, from top 上课 - Start class (probably lowers the screen etc.)下课 - End class台式电脑 - Desktop computer数字展台 - Digital booth*手提电脑 - Handheld computer/ laptop - this is probably the important one, if you want to plug in a VGA cable to a laptop and display on a screen, you need this one. I think the other buttons are probably all clear for you? Let me know if not *This one I'm not sure about, because I don't know what's connected to the computer exactly. Maybe some booth/ stand/ display area? Someone better versed than me can tell you, I'm sure.
kriket Posted November 11, 2015 at 12:00 AM Author Report Share Posted November 11, 2015 at 12:00 AM Wow, than you so much Michael! So this unit is used in classrooms? I work with a technical company and somehow the owner got hold of this unit and have been trying to figure out how to make this unit work. Can you please help me with the back of the console? Did we label it correctly as input and output? Thank you for your time, thank you again in advance!
michaelS Posted November 14, 2015 at 10:45 AM Report Share Posted November 14, 2015 at 10:45 AM Well, you commonly see equipment similar to this in classrooms for connecting a laptop or computer to an OHP or speakers, for example. But there's no reason it would have to be. You have identified input and output correctly (that's what is written underneath the red sockets. The other buttons say Audio Input Output Desktop computer IR1 Laptop IR2
