Pollution mask for small features

Hi All,

 

Now that summer seems to be over and the blue skies gone with it ... I am going to make sure I've got some pollution masks for heavy days.

 

All of the 3M masks fit me well. They are well sealed and I can breath without any problems. However, my girlfriend's nose is very small (She's Chinese) and the masks don' fit well over her nose. Essentially there is just a huge gap at the top of the mask. Whereas when I wear on the top of the mask fits well over the bridge of my nose. An advantage of having a "big nose" I guess

 

Anyway, can anyone recommend any brand of mask or type of 3M mask that would be better?

 

I have seen quite a few Chinese women wearing 3M 9322 and it look's okay. It's hard to tell though.

I got "corrected" some time back for referring to my foreign nose as 大鼻子。The Chinese person I was talking with cracked up laughing and said I should call it 高鼻子 instead, because 大鼻子 conjured up something grotesque like a potato.

 

Anyone else heard anything about that?

I am not in Beijing and I have never experienced smog levels so bad I would wear a mask, however it occurred to me maybe a child's mask would fit better.

It has occurred to me briefly as well but ... She is an adult sized adult. The main problem is she has a typically "Chinese nose". Not much of a bridge.

Kid masks would be too small I think .

My nose is pretty small (Chinese blood lol)  and the Aura 9221+ fits really well.

Vogmask seemed to have 4 sizes, did you have a look?

Have you tried the 3M mask 9001V series? It has an adjustable metal clip to secure the hold on one's nose.

This is the mask I use ... it's too big for her. The metal clip goes over the bridge of your nose and, for me, works perfectly. For her though there is just a big gap there regardless how much you bend the clip.

Child sizes are too small.

 

She isn't smaller than any other Chinese girl I'd say... it's just the problem I mention above about it not sealing at the top.

 

Huina's recommendation looks the best bet.

Well try the japanese ones,that will be fit for your chinese gf,their size is fit for chinese,my colleague use some japanese brand before.
