New Members mistysky Posted November 15, 2015 at 05:09 AM New Members Report Posted November 15, 2015 at 05:09 AM It's an old classical movie that I used to see my parents watch when I was in my childhood. It involved a woman residing in a monastery and I believed the movie started out with her in the garden catching butterflies? I remember her painting a red heart on her forehead while applying makeup. And she became attracted to this visiting man later? And onward there were people carrying torches waiting outside intending to breach the monastery walls? Quote
Zeppa Posted November 17, 2015 at 05:14 PM Report Posted November 17, 2015 at 05:14 PM It might be easier to narrow it down if you could say what you mean by 'classical movie' - what range of dates? and when you were in your childhood. I assume it was a Chinese film? Quote

Leihuangdi Posted January 2, 2016 at 11:22 PM Report Posted January 2, 2016 at 11:22 PM The story sounds like what happens in 西厢记, I haven't seen the movie so can't be 100% sure. Quote
