given that the two 練 are exactly similar, and the overall proportion of all chars, I fancy that this has in fact not be written by a calligrapher, but printed on paper with a 行书 font and then transferred onto your shoulders.

Word for word translation is 金子买不来时间,but I suggest 惜时如金。The latter one means you cherish time as much as gold, simpler and more common in Chinese. 

By the way, you can often see 金钱买不来时间 in pupil's compositions. Here, 金钱 means money.
