Hi,everyone!

'He runs quicker than me' will be 他比我跑得快, but how do I translate 'He runs much quicker than me'?

Does 他比我跑得快多了 make sense?

Thank you.

I would say 他跑得比我快 and 他跑得比我快多了, but I've been wrong before.

But the English original is wrong, in at least two if not three respects!

Question is, how do you translate the original and retain its sense of childish bad grammar.

"He runs much quicker than me" is correct English. Even if it wasn't, that's no excuse for translating it badly (not everyone here is a native English speaker).

他比我跑得快多了 (他跑得比我快多了) is correct. You can also say 他比我跑得快得多 (他跑得比我快得多).
