Hello everyone !

I currently have a one year student visa since last september. My question is :

I would live to change city for the next semester. Can i keep my student visa if i found a new school ?

What's happen if don't find any suitable school for the next semester ? Do i lose my visa even if i havent missed any single class during the first semester ?

Many thanks in advance for your answers !!

If you officially leave the school you're at or stop going to classes for long enough that they notice, then the school will cancel your residence permit/visa.

I'm not sure but I imagine that your residence permit is tied to your school and that you'd likely have to 'transfer' to a new school. A similar process to changing jobs in China.

Officially your visa is for you studying at that school and if you change school you need a new visa.

That being said, a lot of people would simply not worry about it and use it at another school. It is quite a bit of effort to cancel a visa, so I am not sure if your school will go through the trouble if you do not study there.
