112233 Posted November 24, 2015 at 01:59 PM Report Posted November 24, 2015 at 01:59 PM Hi everyone, is anyone aware of an anki deck / other resource which has (good quality) sentences for all of the HSK 6 vocab? Alternatively do any of the HSK study guides include sentences? Any help would be much appreciated! Quote
HerrPetersen Posted November 24, 2015 at 03:22 PM Report Posted November 24, 2015 at 03:22 PM There was one called hsk2012. Sentences Werke mostly audio. Sometimes Taiwan dialect but overall pretty good. I believe timo's deck on ankiweb contains said deck. Quote
daofeishi Posted November 24, 2015 at 04:05 PM Report Posted November 24, 2015 at 04:05 PM Hi everyone, is anyone aware of an anki deck / other resource which has (good quality) sentences for all of the HSK 6 vocab? Yes, they go by names such as 'magazines', 'newspapers', 'novels', 'blogs' and similar. The best way of increasing your understanding of Chinese at that level is probably by consuming proper native level material, not the preprocessed gunk that is CSL model sentences and student workbooks. That will help you understand the usage of the vocab, stylistic choices and collocations as well, which is at least as important as knowing the dictionary meaning of the words. If you are interested in knowing roughly what words that you should know, you'll find a list here, but to learn how to use them in context, there really is no substitute for actually reading Chinese and engaging with native level sources.
