889 Posted December 14, 2015 at 10:30 PM Report Posted December 14, 2015 at 10:30 PM Since you're a minor, your parents need to appoint someone in China who will be your legal guardian there. If you get sick or have other problems in China, the guardian will be responsible for your care. From a legal standpoint, the guardian takes the place of your parents in China. Here's a sample guardianship agreement for minor children: http://www.chinalawblog.org/law-topics/divorce/228-child-guardian Note that it needs to be signed both by your parents entrusting you to the guardian and by the guardian accepting the guardianship. (This is just a sample guardianship agreement; I'm not vouching that it's appropriate for your situation.) 1 Quote
