Check that other websites are opening and confirm your settings whether you have mistakenly blocked the site...if there is anything like that. About embassy application in Nigeria. There are many applicants. There is a federal scholarship board which conducts selection examination. Candidates are selected and forwarded to the Chinese embassy in Nigeria and they forward to CSC. About the embassy application, I know that of FSB, its very competitive, I thought one can simply visit the embassy and apply( without involving the ministry of education, scholarship board for selection). So I wanted to learn Chinese for a year, so I applied to the EU window-CGS earlier this year, and now the Confucius Institute's, both primarily to Qingdao University. After I sent my stuff to the CI, they wrote that I should contact my uni to raise my chances, and I did (I was already in contact with them, as I got a pre-admission notice for the CGS). At least to my understanding, they wrote that they already accepted me for CGS thus they cant accept me for the Confucius scholarship. their reply: 我们已经给您做了政府奖学金的通知书，按照中国政府奖学金录取。 所以孔子学院的确认我暂时确认不了。 希望能在青岛大学见到你，以一个中国政府奖学金的身份。 Then I looked up the procedure, and I found that the Chinese Scholarship Council sends the already approved candidate for the unis, and I assumed I'm more or less chosen if the uni also accepted me, so I asked them that this means I got the scholarship, but they only gave a vague answer (最终结果要等中国政府通知您。 希望能在QU见到你@). So anyone has experience about the procedure and stuff, cuz I don't know what to think Thanks and sorry for the long story Hi, I applied for CGS EU Window program for bachelor degree and my status is currently checking since early may. Unfortunately institutions cannot give any information before the admitted candidates list comes out in early July I am very impatient too, but we still have to wait a little bit longer and try to be patient. Anyway the news you received seem to be positive, but better waiting to be sure about the result. However what do you know about the procedure? They told me i am already enrolled as a student from september couple weeks ago and said i have been accepted for scholarship as well. Im too confused what is happening now. So did school accept me already and now the document is in beijing for final decision or what is it?? i applied directly to school and they said they will accept me basically. The Unis chose those whom they are accepting and send back those to the CSC. The Council then confirm the chosen students and send the Admission Package to Brussels, and they mail it to you. The ECCO are the intermediary, you should expect your admission package around august. Do u get to know if the ECCO got a lot of applications? Lagos or Abuja? First, theay called me for survey. Second, they called me to inform that I had to change my field study. Because, my field study that I choosed in the university was full. They suggest me to choose Yunan University with Project Management as a field study. They also sent me a new application form. It was hard for me because I have no economic study basically. Hahaha, even the scholarship that university offers is so gorgeous. But I told him that I have got csc scholarship. I apologized so much to him for my decision.
