first of all thank you so much for you support!

me and my friend just got an email that we got the scholarship! I hope that all of you will get it!! Good luck !!!

1) What is your native country?

- Germany

2) Where did you apply?

- direclty to the renmin university because the embassy in germany didnt care about that. They told us we have to aply through the embassy in brussel.....

3) When did you apply? 

- march

4) When was the deadline?

- middle of march

5) Have you applied for the scholarship before? 

- No. 

6) What program did you apply for?

-  CSC,  Master Degree (Chinese taught)

7) What schools did you put for your preferences? 

- 1st renmin university, beijing normal university and sichuan university

8 ) Did you apply for your school of choice beforehand?

- no

9) What agency number did you use?

-

10) Where did you get your physical done?

- family doctor

11) How did you get your documents notarized?

- my university has all the documents in english so they just had to signed it.

12) Were you accepted for the scholarship, if you were not then why?

-  yes, accepted

13) How were you notified? 

- email 

14) When were you accepted/rejected?

- 2nd of July

15) What school and program were you accepted to?

- Renmin University Chinese Literature

tomzuklin - Usually no, they cover everything.

Someone here mentioned accommodation. I had such a hassle with accommodation when I first arrived, the teachers placed me at the school hotel stating that the dorms were full. Then later said I chose the hotel instead of the dorms. I lost almost 20 thousand RMB for the whole year and they said they'd pay me back but they never did. So confirm your accommodation before you arrive.

Yes, I applied for the bilateral program Spain-China. This morning I phoned to the embassy and they have told me that they don't know nothing yet. I must wait...

I did not know that it'll be rejected. 

Actually, I email JLU and SDU for the opening of CSC application and they say to apply each university separately. So I figured that I should apply separately in laihua as well.

4) When was the deadline?- 1st April for scholarship and 31 January for university

5) Have you applied for the scholarship before? - No. 

6) What program did you apply for?-  Chinese University,  Master Degree (English Taught) 

7) What schools did you put for your preferences? - just Tsinghua university. 

8 ) Did you apply for your school of choice beforehand?- yes. The university later contacted me and told that they decided to nominate me for CSC

9) What agency number did you use?- tsinghua university code

10) Where did you get your physical done?- did not do it yet

11) How did you get your documents notarized?- My university issued all the docs in English, so I didn't get my docs notarized.  I only certified true copy with my signature and date. 

12) Were you accepted for the scholarship, if you were not then why?-  yes, i got accepted.

13) How were you notified? - email from university

14) When were you accepted/rejected?- 14th June

15) What school and program were you accepted to?- Advanced Computing, Master (English taught), Tsinghua University
