reitia Posted February 2, 2016 at 10:53 AM Report Posted February 2, 2016 at 10:53 AM Hello friends, I'm still seeking ancient Chinese recipes (in translation) from the earliest dynastic periods until the Tang. Does anyone know of old Chinese cookbooks in English or French translation, which contain information on what was eaten in ancient China and how it was prepared? Does the cuisine of modern Xi'an preserve, to any great extent, the culinary tradition of old Chang'an? What does ancient Chinese poetry have to say about cooking? Quote
lips Posted February 2, 2016 at 11:52 AM Report Posted February 2, 2016 at 11:52 AM 《食珍录》was written in the Northern and Southern Dynasties period and 《食经》was written in Sui Dynasty. I don't know if these were translated into other languages. Quote
