Sweet and Sour meatballs. What I do with the sauce is I just add catsup to the pineapple syrup (I use canned tidbits - Del Monte)... you can add cornstarch to thicken it. Also for the meatballs I just buy lean ground pork and then add onions and carrots (chopped) to the lean ground pork mix together add egg to 1/2 kilo of ground pork. Then roll into balls, then roll into flour and fry. After you fry it set aside, and saute garlic onion, and then add the 1 cup of pineapple juice and just 3 tbsp. of catsup, stir well until it thickens (I dont really measure), then add the carrots and bell pepper cut into strips we really need a lot of carrots in this recipe aside from the one we used as an extender for the meatballs, add the meatballs let is simmer so the meatballs will absorb the flavor of the sauce, add the pineapple last and then salt and pepper to taste.
