Translating Asian Characters in Images

Recommended Posts

I am hoping this group can help, I have been trying to decipher some porcelain marks, but to no avail, tried drawing them and then translating, got some really interesting translations, such as "Bundled Hair JU li" which I think is probably incorrect.

The first is on a porcelain spoon that I think is Rose Mandarin, but can't find the mark anywhere.

The second is on a small lidded urn which I believe is also Rose Mandarin but again cannot find the mark, hoping someone can make out the characters in the corners.

I appreciate all your help.  I just retired and am trying to develop a hobby.

Thanks

Shelly, Thank you,  I went to Gotheborg and found the first one, it is Qianlong Nian Zhi from between 1930 and 1970, but can't find any characters or images that match the second.  One of my issues with searching for Asian marks is the orientation of the mark, if it doesn't have the 大 (Dau?) symbol in it I struggle to find the correct positioning as well as which language it may be, Chinese, Japanese, or Korean.  The chracter I focused on in the second mark is the bottom (I think) right which looks like a backward lower case j with an umlaut or two dots above it.

I appreciate the help.

I appreciate your looking at it, is it the top right character that denotes the Guangxu reign?  The other ones is the best picture I can get, the mark is really faded, I was hoping someone could make out the characters, the only one I can somewhat make out looks like a backward lowercase j with two dots over it.
